Lucky Star: The Seinfeld of Anime!

Lucky Star is undoubtedly the Anime version of Seinfeld. All you do is replace the cast with four 18 year old girls in Japan. 1 Ditz, 1 Otaku, 1 Moe Character, and 1 Tsundere. The show has all the charm of both genres (anime and Seinfeld). There's the pointless conversations, the lack of any distinguishable story arc, and all the anime-isms we all know and love. Any fan of Seinfeld and Anime should really check it out!!

Also, this thread can be a discussion of the anime as a whole.

I loveeee Lucky Star yet hate Seinfield...I used to download the everytime they were subbed by A.F.K but lately I haven't for some reason. I miss it's fascinating pointlessness...
When I first joined this site my avatar was Kona-chan. I can't remember it now since I changed...

It has its mildly funny moments, but really, I think it's made for over-the-top cute cute wooh wooh girls who don't care 'bout story.

i like lucky star,

but i think its a little to cute for me to REALLY like it.

But overall good anime.

I'd watched a lot off serious, violent story-driven Anime right before I watched Lucky Star. So it was a nice change of pace for me. Sometimes it's good to watch something pointless. I heard it's been liscensed so...yeah..maybe I'll buy it...

Not nessesarily, since I am not a over-the-top wooh wooh girl. But in this instance...the plot was amusing to me. Of course I didn't have a normal High School career, either.

o ok, yea i'll try to put that on my many to watch anime list.

Well, Lucky Star is funny, i laugh a lot, and i love violent anime that have a lot of blood ... but random anime are my tipe too... and love that ones that do parodies
of other animes, like gintama and Lucky Star. And yes, Lucky star doesn't have any story, it's just the life of four 18 years old students in Japan ...
