We are Kannies

Well, first off I want to say sorry for my long absence. Apparently I was in a coma >.>

Yeah...I dont even know what happened...

Oh well, I wanted to start one of these. This might be more of a story than a rp, but hey, I think it's a good idea.

The nobles call it The Slums. The crown calls it an unfortunate part of society. We call it home. It is Kantun, the outskirts of the royal city, Kanvranth. Where the below-nobles suffer. Of course, to us it isn't suffering. It's merely life. We have to fight to survive, or steal, or plunder, or cheat, or lie. That's the philosophy we Kannies live by.

However, not many others see the necessity.

With the last note being the wisest, the King allowed Kantun to continue. He placed "schools" where childern under 12 were required to attend. They were held in the humble temples on the outskirts of the lowest nobles and the highest Kannies. They had a free breakfast, mandatory, and warm in the winter. Sadly, that was the only food that some of the kids saw all day.

The teenagers that are clever, leave their homes where their mothers either sell their bodies for money intentionally or are forced too, and their fathers usually don't exist. They run the streets. Some find reasonable jobs and live like the rest of the normal Kannies; from payday to payday. Others however...

We are the true Kannies. We use deceit and theft to get what we want. However, we don't do it out of greed, only necessity. We feel we deserve a day off once in a while. We dare to dream of something better than a life of hard labor, sacrifice and no break. We live where we want, survive how we chose. We are the people who walk by you that you don't see.

There are:

Assassins: This is the organized guild. They are skillfully trained by the secret organization. They are regularly imployed by angry, jealous, vindictive, or politcally drunk nobles wanting the get rid of a rival or ex-lovers quietly or (if they pay extra) painfully.

*There are a few rogue asassins but they rarely ever survive because the guild hunts them down and rids Kantun of them quickly.
**The Asassins Lord is getting old, and looking for a sucessor to take his place as overlord of all asassins.

Thieves This group of people usually consists of younger Kannies. They are very skillful at the "lift-n-lay" which is a difficult form of pick-pocketing.

*There are a very few thieves who are called "roof walkers." They are usually richer because they walk the roofs of the wealthy stealing jewelery and other pleasantries that can be melted down or changed until they are unrecognizable. However, this field is far more risky.
**There use to be a theives guild but the members were so cunning and untrusting it soon fell apart.

Other: Anything else can be here, commoner, farmer, mercenary, etc.

2. No super powers. No powers at all in fact.

3. I want this to be as true as it can, so it may be a graphic, but nothing out of control.

4. I want there to be some kind of turn order, so the order will be decided by who adds the bio first, second, and so forth.

Name: Honduri Damisil

Age: 24

Personality: Honduri is not the best person to have a conversation with. In many cases when someone tries to talk to him, he spaces out and completly forgets that they are there. He lives in his own world and doesnt have many friends because of it. In spite of his lack of friends he is a kind and happy person.

Appearance: Honduri stands at 6'1" and he has an average build. He has long brown hair that he always wears in a low pony tail. He has green eyes that seem to glaze over when he spaces out. Though he doesnt look it, he is very strong and has trained in different fighting arts ever since he was six years old. He has killed most of the nerves in both his shins and forearms, causing them to have a slightly bony apperance.

Job: Mercenary

History: At 16 years old, his family was cast out of Kanvranth. His mother died of disease and his father commited suicide, leaving him alone in Kantun. He survived alone, stealing what he needed, sometimes almost killing for it. He lived 4 years alone, untill he stole the thing that completely changed his life, a sword. He became a mercenary centered around Kanvranth.

Other Information: Honduri spaces out constantly. He sometimes gets so into his own world that forgets that he is doing a job or that people are talking to him.

Name: Aaron Smith

Age: 18

Race: Human

Weapons: One black sword, one white sword, 50 cal with scope and 44 magnum

Job: Avenger

Personality: Aaron is usually quiet and to himself.. when someone talks to him he replies with a one word answer or just walks away from the person completely. He is always thinking about different stuff all the time. He is even thinking about other things while working but he always gets the job done. He isn't haste about his job. He does it at his own pace and when he is ready to do his job. He is a master at what he does and he has never let a person escape. If someone he knows is in trouble he will save them. He always has words of advice to the people who have become his friends. He always thinks of different plans and many different steps of whats going to happen. He tries to control the outcome of his job.

Build: Athletic

Height: 5'9"


Description: Wears black nike shoes, black nike socks, black pants, black t-shirt, black full body coat with hood, black glasses and black gloves. Carries around a black bag full of ammo and food. He has the one sword on his back and the other one on his side. His 44 magnum is on his side and his 50 cal is over his back. Best work is done at night so he can kill easily.


Bio: He was raised in Baltimore. He saw his family get killed. He swore on that day forth that he would protect everyone that he can from harm. He wanders every where never staying in the same spot for more then a day or two. He trains everyday to keep his skills sharp and kills mostly at night. He doesn't know if he is good or evil but he is looking for people to ban with that are killers or assassins.
