Time to think to much!

Like I said, this is something I think about a lot and sometimes it ends hurting my head. Once I even got a nose bleed thinking to much on it.

Well, I ponder stuff about the world and universe a lot. I always try to think about how it was all created.

I cant believe that God or a god created it. Those that say that God created everything from nothing seem to also believe that the earth is only 12000 years old which I know for a fact is false; but the only way I can figure the universe was created was that there is/was a god in existance that created it.

There are also some who say that it has always been, there was no beggining, it just was. That is also something I cant believe.

Right now, the most popular explaination that I have heard (of course) is that God created it. I want other explainations, I dont want some supreme being creating everything. I want something I can beleive.

I have a lot of different theorys but most of them are very very long and right now I dont have a whole lot of time...

i believe that the earth was created in a scientific way.

What does it matter? We can't go back and un-create it. We need to think about how to exist now, in case we blow up or something. Live life for the moment.

But then I remember I have to work for a living and can't just live for the moment...You have to think about the future ah, what a predicament. I hate looking ahead (Mostly because I can't think of what the heck to do in the future...)

yes. i feel the same way i really want to stay 17 forever i dont have to worry about anything rite now but thats not coming true.

Yes, I, Too, wanted to stay 17 but then my birthday came and I was still alive so I turned 18 and soon I will be 19 since I don't plan on dying anytime soon. I don't wanna get oooooooldddddd!

Personally, she thinks that creation goes back to the Big Bang.

Evolution seems more realistic.

But just because evolution is a proven theory, doesn't disprove the existence of a 'God'. Insisting on one or the other is narrow minded.

Well, I know we cant go back and un-create it. I would just like to know how it was created. I know about the Big Bang theory, but where did the energy needed to make that come from?

The meaning of life is 42, so, by following logic, the creation of life has to come down to that equation.

how did you even come up with that? well even though thoughts are just thoughts and im just saying that God created everything out of nothing... there was no big bang and there was not enough energy to just poof everything in the right place in space... if you read the bible it tells things that are happening right now.. like alliances between different countries that would never happen... a lot of things are happening and its in a book that is taking lightly. now these are just my thoughts though.

i was kinda waiting for someone to write something like this.even though i belive in "jesus christ"i still think the big bang happened.well what ever we're still here.

why does it matter if some one writes something like that or not... i mean i don't believe that the big bang happened and you don't believe in God.. so our values are different.

As for the creation of Adam and Eve, ecetera, The Old Testament is proclaimed a 'work of fiction', and even the church says that it is to be 'loosely interpretated' - which means it's so full of tall tales that snails in gumboots denounce it as preposterous.

What it is, is a collection of stories designed to give people a moral structure to live by: Love thy neighbour, don't have sex with your sister, ecetera ecetera. But as for the creation of the world itself, it holds no relevancy.

The Big Bang is lookin' pretty believable now.

but if you read the bible idk were exactly in it but im going to guess revelation... it tells bout things that are going to happen in the future... some of those things are already happening....

how did the big bang happen? how did it just explode out of nothing when nothing was there in the beginning? what are the chances that the earth was placed in just the right spot so we wouldn't freeze or burn to death? the earth is placed in just the right spot so we wouldn't die from being to close to the sun or to far away from the sun... how did the big bang just happen by chance to place the earth like that? along with the rest of everything else in space?

I think in life there are a lot of contradictions just like what SwordKiller just said

It happened, didn't it? How can you say it would have never happened? You can't because it did happen. We just don't know. We believe what we want to believe (or not) whether or not we can prove it.

Most of those questions are unanswered.

Hence why the Big Bang is just a theory, and not a definite.

Nothing was on the Earth for billions and billions of years after the Big Bang. We weren't 'placed' - we evolved and adapted to our environment, which was appropriate to allow such a thing.

Most of those things you are asking are mere coincidence.

Gravitational pull from other planets, stars ecetera: enviromental factors, basically.
