| Eureka 7 was a great Anime, probably one fo the best 2006 Animes. I don't know if they should make season 2. They actually closed the plot quite well, so it could feel disconnected the second season, and sometimes that kills the anime itself. Also, the anime ran for a whole year with 50 episodes so it is like 2 seasons really, and not one. | |

| God that's hard to say... I'm sure the plot probably would have been left intact without a couple of episodes, but it was way too complex to capture with the usual 26 ep's. It took a long time to develop and the final stretch in particular was extremely introspective. All of those small "insignificant" moments, daily experiences, and conversations ultimately contributed to the character development of Renton and Eureka. The final episode is a crescendo of everything those two learned over the last year. I love watching Renton start out as this awkard youth that patiently listens to the views of every person he meets and slowly develops his own life philosophy, confidence, and maturity. Eureka of course goes from being like Rei Ayanami to a more expressive and friendly character. A few of my friends got bored with it and just wanted to see the fights and ending. There is SO MUCH YOU MISS if you just watch the ending, with out a doubt that show had some of the richest and deepest character development I have ever seen. The plot and fights are only part of the story, it's mostly about a boy and a girl growing up and falling in love! I was not expecting this when I heard it was about surfing robots. Sorry to go on for so long, it's just that there is sooo much about this show I love and I think it would be very difficult to make an equally deep story, let alone sequel. | |

| man i was just so sad when the final episode came out and Eureka Seven ended. I just needed that next set of episodes cause if loved the series so much. honestly, i think they wont make it, but if they did, i would buy/read it. i think one of the episodes i loved most was actually one that was kinda out-there. it was the soccer episode, i forget what it was called, but for whatever reason, i just loved the episode. episodes you liked were... | |
