Domino Effect...

I think what's happening here in the forums is a domino effect. A topic is posted, or a reply and no one responds. Eventually people stop checking for replies, which cause traffic to the site to go down (more and more people stop checking and give up on replies and new topics). So start replying to the topics or starting new conversations or this site will surely die off like numerous before it...

yes I have noticed this forum has became very dead

I know, and it sucks.
I have also figured out at least 3/4 of our members came from veoh...
and 1/2 that came from veoh saw my old profile. (don2000105 was deleted, and it had about 1000 friends)

So yes this sucks.
But i swear to god.. im going to get alot more people here...
or...
im going to make a anime streaming site and link it here so it will get more people...
or somthing.

We don't have a problem with number of members we have a problem with members not being on-line regularly

Yeah, rather than have more members, we should try to get the ones we have to be more active...maybe more polls or something or maybe downloads (like anime theme songs or something)...BUT! if we do that we should require them to have a certain number of posts beforehand (like 5-10).

Yea, sorry for never being on. Im work on different things 24/7 now. I'll try to make time to be on as much as I can but it's kind of hard when the forum isn't very active...

Well, this sucks, now my computer had a meltdown and it is now broken. So now everything I do has to be on either a library computer or a school computer...

I to am very busy i try to visit it the site at least once a day to check if anything needs administrating but there isn't anything

an Anime forum is thought.
A real otaku...like myself, spend most of its free time watching Anime. And that is not counting that I also like video games, and that I work, and I am a network administrator. :p
Sumarizing, I don't really have much time. I have found however that RSS feeeds are becaming almost a must for me, and it is more so with Outlook 2007 (and Exchange) which allow me to check my feeds from any PC using OWA.
If people is up to date of what is happening they answer more. Think of a chat window, when one goes silence usually both stay silent. but when talking at least the usual "OK" is typed :p
RSS feeds would be a nice improvement

i'm sorry ill be on more but with the newer anime sites opening i'v been bizzy O_O ill come here more and post

this was one of the resons i stopped coming here but now im back for sure.

yea could possible be why or they get grounded and forget about it and can't remember the site or something along the lines of that.
