wow i had completely forgotten about this awesome anime until eurekaseven's post mentioned it....this used to be one of my favorite anime series...it wasnt just a mystery and crime solving story...but another deeper story in that...im going to have to go look this up on veoh to see if they have any episodes Very Happy

The first one I got into was Sailor Moon, then it was Cased Closed, I love this anime

case closed? dang! i had comepletely forgotten about that anime until now. since adultswim stopped showing it, i haven't anything that relates to the anime. i should really start searching for that anime since it was really good.

Meitantei Conan (aka Case closed) is still being aired in Japan. 482 episodes so far, and couting. The show has been being produced non stop since 1996. It also has 10 movies, last one premiered this year (movie Nº 10)
Manga is also still running, so it can be a long project to watch all episodes or read the manga

good to know, i was ticked when they would change the names of all the suspects in the english dub but i guess that was to aid the audience in keeping track of who's who.

if you read the comments on the commercials on adult swim, you can tell that a lot of the staff members don't like anime. jerks, i think they look for a reason to drop a show the moment it even slightly dips in popularity

The only reason that I watched adult swim was to watch Bleach before I started watching Subbed versions online, and to wath Eureka Seven. I've never seen Case Closed, I should probably start, since eurekaseven keeps nagging at me to watch it.

I used to love Cased Closed, but AS wouldn't pick up the other seasons so I gave up watching it. There's a live action of it called Detective Conan, I haven't watched it yet, though...
