Big O

This was one of my favorite mechas because the mechs were like the old ones from the 60's, the detective-noir genre and mass amnesia was cool, I thought Roger Smith was cool, the questions concerning equallity of humans and androids were interesting, and it even got philisophical towards the end which is nice because i like to watch a show that mixes action and provokes thinking. At first I hated the ending, but the more i watched it, the more it grew on me and now i think it was the perfect ending to the series since some of the characters question certain aspects of self and the significance of memory and free will. I wont ruin the ending, but you probably won't like it the first time you see it. What did you guys think of it?

I remember seeing it on TV but it was not on for long they only showed like 6 episodes, but the episodes I saw where good

Ohh.....I LOVE Big O, actually it was only 1 of 2 mecha animes I like. I really don't like mecha for some reason. I liked Dorothy, she was my favorite, I liked it the first time I saw it...Isn't there another season that didn't air on Adult Swim? I could've swore I signed a petition once for them to get the other season on AS (one of the dubs I do like) I can't really remember..I'll go look it up.

yes there was a second season and adult swim did air all of the eps, but they didnt come on until like 5 a.m. sunday morning. You've only seen half of the show then, the first season was slightly better but i liked both a lot and the ending is just amazing.

Yeah, his is animated...maybe your size was too big? Did you get it off the internet or your compu? Oh, how did it end? I might have seen it and not realize it was the ending..I'm like that sometimes...how many eps after Angel came to the farmers house (can't remember his name) with all the tomatoes and met her mother? God, it's been a lo~ong time since I've been up that early to see it...0.o

i don't remember all the details either cuz it's been a couple years, i'm gonna give the series another run before my classes start, and the ending is a little confusing if you haven't been paying close attention to a majority of the series. On top of that, a couple otherwise normal characters go off the deep end in the last 2 eps. which makes it more confusing.

Is Dorothy one of them? I hope not..I guess I need to re-watch it.
