What are your opinions on Hentai? Do you not care for it? Maybe you hate it. Some find it just not their thing. Others like it.

Me. I personally class it as any normal art, simply not afraid of taking it one step further. Although, some of it is duh porn, there are some out there, pics and movies, that are pretty damn artistic. It's also sort of good to add it when an Anime leaves it out and there is an obvious void in that aspect of reality, especially when the Anime has been realistic in every other point, apart from the fantasy it has. Like Death Note. I thought that could do with some sex scenes. No on in particular, but certainly some action.

It just had this realistic, dark vibe about it. It was violent when it had to be. I really felt like the sex part was swept under the carpet by red-cheek fans, or whatever.

me i like hentai but more yuri type if i can get it yaoi is ok but me bing gay 2 guys just dose not always ketch me thow i have watched many yaoi (more then yuri lol)

its normal compared to pther things these days so... why not like it, (but personaly...yuri is better) but hey, im a guy.

but also, i dont like when theres no plot, it ruins anime as a whole.

Watching it objectively is okay, but there are some hentai fans who watch it constantly...and talk about it constantly. I don't mind it, but there are some who freak me out. Like torture-based..o.0 And yes, I agree some anime could use a sex scene or two, realistically, are all these characters abstinent? I would find that hilarious. More manga than anime have sex scenes in them. A lot of the time that ignore that fact when they translate them into anime.

I am more in the side that I don't care if it is there or not, just like in a series or movie. If it adds to the story it is welcome, if it just fan service and nothing else, it is pointless. I think my time is precious and gold, so when there are useless parts-episodes-scenes I really don't like it and my view of the anime decreases. It is difficult to add Hentai or nudity on an anime, and some just add it to add it (like blood)
Elfen Leid for example is well balanced.
On the other side, the producers add sometimes this part just to get more people to watch. I know a lot of people that have watched berserck, elfen leid and gungrave because of the blood on it. Or that watch a particular anime because of the Hentai. Personally I look for a story, and not a particular genre or bias

I guess it's personal preference. I couldn't watch Bible Black... And yes I did try...
